Review of Sparkle Eau De Parfum by NEXT

Wednesday, November 13, 2013

So i was in need of a new perfume, and after shopping in NEXT today, i stopped dead in my tracks at the beautiful perfume display in front of me. on there i saw candles, defusers, solid fragrances and bottles of perfume in 3 different sizes.
what's this perfume called i hear you say?....
*drum roll*

 Sparkle (30ml) by NEXT- £7.50.

Not only is the packaging to die for, but the little bottle is cute too! with little spots of 'sparkle' and perspex transparent lid, it is eye catching and christmassy.

The fragrance itself is oriental scent with citrus notes and luminous floral tones with hints of wood. It lasts for hours, and smells divine.

It comes in various sizes... so is perfect for gifts, stocking fillers and for personal use!

 Solid Fragrance (5ml)- £4
Handbag size (10ml)- £4
Sparkle miniature bottle (30ml)- £7.50 (gift sets and candles also available.)

The solid fragrance is good to use as a 'top-up' or for layering with EDP when applied to pulse points.
The 10ml size bottle is good to go in your handbag for when you're on the go and the 30ml EDO bottle is good for special gifts or for personal use in your home.

so for the perfect present for your girlfriend, mum, sister or just a little token for yourself, pop into next now. this fragrance is selling out fast!

Overall the product is amazing. it gets 5* from me. The packaging is cute, the bottle size is good for a fraction of the price of these 'branded' perfumes. it's a nice treat for myself and i'll definitely purchase this again. :)

Holy grail lipstick for $2!!

Saturday, July 27, 2013

Hi guys,
So from the title I bet you're wondering what brand I am talking about?...
Well, if you're an avid YT beauty video watcher (like me) you'll already know which brand I mean... here it is

Wet n Wild Megalast lipstick in 'Cherry Picking'. (the colour selection is amazing too!)

And I've jumped on the bandwagon with this product a little late because they're impossible to get in the UK. I had to order this off Amazon for £2.50 so it cost me a little more than $2. But no complaints.

As you can see the pigmentation and colour pay off is amazing and it lasts for a good few hours.
Only one flaw is that it's a little bit drying on the lips, but I use a lip balm or a lip butter underneath and it's totally fine!
A great investment if you can manage to find it! Happy smiles all round!

Primark 'Macadamia' and 'Argan Oil' hair treatment review

Sunday, June 09, 2013

Hi guys,

a few days ago i picked up some hair products by 'Hask' from Primark.

I hadn't gotten around to trying out and reviewing this product until yesterday.

What with all the hype about 'Moroccan Oil' and other such brands (and yes, i'm on the bandwagon for this.) I saw these hair treatments in Primark (each one for little under £2.50) and i had to get a few to try.

I decided to try the Hask Macadamia Oil Hydrating deep condition hair treatment -phew, that was long-  which is a conditioning mask in a sachet.

It comes in a 1.75oz (50g) sachet; from which i have already had two uses. and there's enough left for possibly another two at a push.

'Moisturises, revitalises and repairs dry, damaged hair'.... it does exactly what it says on the tin!

I use this product once a week after washing my hair and the results are amazing!
To be honest I wasn't expecting much from such a cheap product really, nothing more than the results of a normal conditioner. But i was wrong; i was amazed at results!

My hair felt silky smooth and smelt great (like cocoa and coconut) for a while even after it had dried.

Other products i'd brought by the brand Hask (not yet tried; but if they have the same results i cannot wait to try!) .....
Hask Argan Oil & Hask Argan Oil hair treatment...

Can they compete with top brands such as Moroccan Oil, Maghrabian Oil?

Buy yours now from Primark for £2.50 each and find out! :)

So, as you can tell i am very happy with the Macadamian Oil hair treatment mask and hope that the Argan Oil and Argan Oil hair treatment mask will have the same if not similar results.
Keep your eyes peeled for a future review on this product.

Bye for now. Kimmy. X
